Scripture Reference: 1 Corinthians 15:1

Makeno mistake about it is the one true gospel that will save, but thesixty four thousand dollar question is, "What is that gospel?" Beforewe can understand what the one true gospel is we need to understandwhat it means to be saved and what the spiritual condition is of aperson that has been saved. If you know this, then you will know whatthe one true gospel is. To be saved means to be saved "from sin" and itcertainly doesn't mean to be saved "in sin" like many deceived peoplethink and believe today. Christ came specifically to save his peoplefrom sin, as he said in Matthew 1:21 that says, "And she shall bringforth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save hispeople from their sins." To be saved from sin means the same as beingsaved from some life threatening disease such as cancer or aids or anyother sickness that's life threatening. If a person has been saved fromcancer, which is a disease that slowly kills its victim, there will beno more traces of it in their body. So if a person has been saved fromsin, then the same is true by saying there will be no more traces ofsin in their mortal body. This of course is a truth that very fewpeople will believe, because the greatest majority of confessingChristians don't believe this and are still living in sin and yet theyconfess to be saved. If this be true, then why are there a number ofscriptures found in Gods word that tells us not to sin and that we areforbidden to sin? Did not Jesus tell the woman that was taken inadultery to go and sin no more? He did not tell her to go and sin somemore, but yet we hear and see millions of confessing Christians stillliving in sin. And the apostle Paul tells us in I Corinthians 15:34these words saying, "Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some havenot the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." Why then areconfessing Christians saying and believing they are saved and stillliving in and commit sin? The answer to this question is simply becausethey are not believing and obeying the one true gospel that Gods wordteaches. They don't truly know what the gospel of Jesus Christ is.

Paultells us in the above scriptures that it is the gospel that saves, butyou must first understand that to be saved means to be saved from sinand not in your sin. To be saved from sin means that sin no longer willbe manifested in the life you live. The reason why this is true issimple because it will be the very life of Christ manifested in andthrough your mortal flesh. The gospel that ninety some percent ofconfessing Christians today are believing is not the one true gospel ofChrist, but is a gospel that will absolutely do nothing for them. Ifyou think that only one gospel is being preached in the world today, then you certainly have been deceived. Even in the days of the earlychurch there were different gospels being preached. Paul tells us thesewords in Galations 1:6-9 that says, "I marvel that ye are so soonremoved from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto anothergospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, andwould pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel fromheaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we havepreached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I nowagain, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye havereceived, let him be accursed." There certainly is more than one gospelbeing preached today whether you believe it or not. So let me reveal toyou the one gospel that is being preached today among the manyProtestants and Catholics believers that has deceived the masses ofpeople by the multiplied millions. This gospel is made up of just a fewwords that can be accepted and believed in a moments time, but willdeceive people by closing their minds blinding them from the one truegospel that can and will save their souls if they begin to believe andobey it.

Itwas the apostle Paul that tells us these words stated in II Corinthians4:3-4 that says, "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that arelost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of themwhich believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, whois the image of God, should shine unto them." Satan is the god of thisworld and he blinds the minds of them away from the one true gospel ofChrist by deceiving them into believing another gospel. It is his manyministers that is doing this. It was Paul that said these words in IICorinthians 11:13-15 that says, "For such are false apostles, deceitfulworkers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.. And nomarvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed asthe ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to theirworks." Jesus himself warned us about this, as well as all the otherapostles did in their epistles they wrote that bears their name ofauthorship. This gospel that is widespread among the confessingChristian world today is a common belief that most if not all of themare teaching and believing, which is what must be believed in order tobe saved. We know that to be saved we must believe the one true gospelof Christ, but the common teaching found today in the realm ofChristianity is not the one true gospel of Christ, but is only aperverted view of what the gospel is. The gospel that is being taughtand believed among the confessing Christian world today is nothing moreor less than a belief on the death, the burial, and the resurrection ofChrist. This is a teaching revealed in Gods word that must be acceptedand believed, but to believe that this is all that the gospel consistsof, then it's plain to see that this very teaching has become "a"gospel.

Letme by the grace of God show you that this teaching is only a smallfraction of what the true gospel consists of in it's fullness. Thereare more than one way to prove this, but I want to first of all showyou from scripture that the one true gospel must be both "obeyed andbelieved" in order to be saved and not just believing a certainstatement alone. In Hebrews 5:9 we find the writer of this book saidthese words saying, "And being made perfect, he became the author ofeternal salvation unto all them that obey him." Notice carefully we aretold here that Christ is the author of one's eternal salvation, not tothem that just merely believe on him, but rather to them that "OBEYS"him. To believe on Christ and to obey him is two different things. Yeswe must believe on Christ, which is done by believing what thescriptures says about his person. To believe on his person means wemust (1) believe that he is the Son of God, and (2) that he died andwas buried and rose again the third day, and (3) that he died for oursins on the cross, etc, etc. All this being true and confessing it hasnothing to do with obeying him does it? Now if you are one of themillions that's believing that the gospel that saves is a mere beliefon his Death, his Burial, and his Resurrection, then would you pleaseinform me how believing this can only be accepted and believed, but itcannot be obeyed? Why do I ask this question? I ask this questionbecause Hebrews 5:9 tells us that Christ is author of eternal salvationnot just to them that believe on him, but rather to them that obey him.Since we have to obey him, which is done by obeying his gospel, thentell me how we can obey a gospel that only tells us to believe on hisDeath, his Burial, and his Resurrection? Is this not what the Christianworld is believing today thinking that the one true gospel is a merebelief on his Death, Burial, and Resurrection? If it is, then pleasetell me how that can be obeyed. Let us look what the apostle Paul tellsus in what he said written in II Thessalonians 1:7-9 that says, "And toyou who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall berevealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire takingvengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel ofour Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlastingdestruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of hispower."

Nowhow can a gospel save anybody that only tells a person what to believeand does not tell them what to do so that they can be saved by becominga doer of it? The one true gospel of Christ contains many differentthings that must both be accepted and believed as well as many thingsthat must be obeyed, but the gospel that says to believe only on theDBR of Christ cannot save, because there are no instructions to beobeyed in the truth of the Death, the Burial, and the Resurrection(DBR) of Christ. To further prove this point look what Paul tells us inII Timothy 3:16-17 that says, "All scripture is given by inspiration ofGod, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, forinstruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." Paul clearly reveals to usthat all scripture (not just the two scriptures of I Corinthians15:3-4) is to instruct us in righteousness that the man of God may beperfect, etc. Any wonder why the confessing Christian world does notbelieve in the doctrine of sinless perfection? Any wonder why mostconfessing Christians today still live in and commit sin and stillclaim to be saved? Know why this is so? Simply because they don't knowwhat the one true gospel is that must be both believed and obeyed inorder to be saved. Call to remembrance again what Paul said about thosewho preach another gospel and not the one true gospel that he preached,as well as the other apostles of Christ. From the looks of it many hasbeen cursed of God for preaching a gospel that only says to believe onthe Death, the Burial, and the resurrection of Christ, amen? What aboutyou, and what are you believing and obeying, or are you one of themultiplied millions that don't believe in obeying anything, but onlywants to believe on Christ? My advice to you is if you can is to "Awaketo righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God:I speak this to your shame." (I Cor 15:34) You are totally void oftruth that is taught and revealed in Gods word, and to be void of truthis to be void of Christ that is the way, the truth, and the life. Ifyou follow a person that is preaching another gospel, then you too arecursed of God as well. If so you better pray that God will have mercyon you and that he will open your blinded eyes to see truth so that youcan begin to recover yourself from the snare that Satan has you in. Hethat has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to thechurch. Amen and Amen
